1947 Born in Trabzon (is a city on the Black Sea coast of north-eastern Turkey) 1971 – 1974 He studied at St. Martin’s School of Art in London.

1974-1996 He painted in Los Angeles. In this period, he served as an art advisor in the Charles Bolles Roger’s Foundation in Minneapolis.

In addition, Berk continued his art works in Europe and the US. He has also had over 18 solo exhibitions in many galleries such as Jack Rutberg Art Gallery and Petersan Gallery in Los Angeles; Wilma Wayne Gallery and Peter Roth Gallery in Europe. His works can be seen in many private collections including Bolles Rogers, Arnold Hammer, Norden Simon and John Portman’s collections. Currently, Berk continues his work in Bodrum, Istanbul and Brussels.
