Ju Jun is a renowned modern sculptor born in Miaoli County, Taiwan in 1962. His early works wee mainly stone sculptures-Pig. He established his distinctive style in the “Great Embrance” piece of the Zipper Series. In 2003, his Wonderland Series, a departure from the world of mortals, expressed the form and structure of Chinese characters and mountain landscape themes in sculptures. In the “Heartstring” Series of 2006, he transformed musical melodies into physical form through his sculptures. The series elicited a resonance between art and music, slowly playing music of their own to the surrounding nature.
