Lai Ya-Chi graduated from the Department of Visiual Communication Design, Kun Shan University. "Your painting is really great"... a compliment from her art teacher in kindergarden which she still keeps it in her heart always. She learned about photography, computer graphics and graphic design in school, followed by working experiences in game art, cover illustration and female comics. Her peronal style of design and paiting is derived from the energy accumulated through continued education and trials. 

While working with comics, Ya-Chi wished to record her deep feeling via painting. Only then did she realize that she wanted to understand herself through story-telling. Fueled by her passion for the arts, she picked up brushes to tell stories through painting.
