"5x5= 25", seemed very special and nonsense, is actually a challenging and reflective title, provoking thoughts about today's exhibition curation.

In today's exhibition curation, curator's idea and packaging strategy always dominate and oriented everything of the exhibition. More and more artists's create arts merely for catering to their curator's tastes. Therefore, artists' discourse power is getting undermined and weakened.

This exhibition showcased 25 pieces of artworks by five young emerging artists, entitled as "5x5= 25", the exhibition meant to highlight 5 artists and their artworks without any extra decoration. The artworks by these 5 vanguarded artists are reflective and self-criticizing, whatever humorous, gloomy, or salacious insinuation within the artworks, that's all the true and honest expression of artists' thoughts and talents.
