Artist(s): Bu HUA
Date: 25 Sep - 31 Oct 2010
Project Fulfill Art Space and Chi-Wen Gallery jointly present Beijing artist Bu Hua Solo Exhibition – LV Forest on September 25, which will introduce numerous artworks of Bu Hua’s digital animations and digital paintings. Bu Hua has a beautiful unrestrained imagination. Instead of the purely lovely picture, she creates a surreal and heavy artificial fairy-tale wonderland to portrait a bustling, noisy but also lonely and desolate atmosphere, which precisely depicts the loss and anxiety that exist in our daily life. Bu Hua’s works lead us to see the existing social and cultural world that we live in through a “fairy tale” scene from the perspective of the little girl in the animation, who represents half ideal figure and half artist herself. Following the little girl’s step, we may indulge ourselves in the solitary fairy tale wonderland and become reluctant to wake up.
