In 2008, MOT/ARTS presented a series of sculptural works transformed from the contemporary canvas works of the most noted artists nowadays in China. Under the concept of “ART FOR THE MASSES”, MOT/ARTS passionately makes art more accessible and realistic to people. In 2011, we invite the eminent Chinese contemporary sculptor Zhan Wang to perform a new project by re-stacking the progressive Dutch architectural firm MVRDV’s 24 selected architectural components, creating a Chinese landscape prospect of stainless steel artificial rocks – “JIA SHAN DE WU”.
