The solo exhibition “Nurture of The Earth–Meditator” by Taiwanese artist Tsai Yi-Ju is going to be opened at MOT/ARTS on Saturday (9/3), along with an in depth seminar about his concept of creation. With a solid background in ink and wash painting and active experiments with diverse materials and forms of creation, Tsai creates distinctive works which incorporate Eastern and Western aesthetics. The exhibition “Nurture of The Earth–Meditator” presents Tsai’s latest collection of works. Tsai uses human faces to symbolize a thinker and a squared box to symbolize the land, expressing his reaction and care about our mother nature.
