Yoshiaki Inoue Gallery presents 'Lines of Flight,' a solo exhibition by Akihito Takuma.
Born in Kumamoto, Japan in 1966, Takuma studied at Shiga University of Education and Circulo de Bellas Artes (Madrid, Spain). Since 1992, he has expressed a record of various people's behavior on canvas called 'Behavior expression painting,' held the exhibition at his home in 1997, and announced acrylic painting 'a line of escape' with a 2 meters stroke. Also, he got the second prize from The 10th Anniversary of Post-Earthquake Restoration- Hyogo International Competition of Painting in 2005, and was made a finalist of Saatchi Online SHOWDOWN in 2011.
The new exhibition is the first one in Kansai, and 20 works including new works and large scale painting are on view.
