Akio Okumura is known for logos familiar to all, such as those for Rohto Pharmaceutical and Ezaki Glico.
This exhibition will validate the past life and works of Akio Okumura, and feature the many products of his activities as a visiting professor at Kyoto University, including image strategies for university research activities and visual identities, such as the spatial designs and logo for the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application which are famous throughout the world, and his unique design education which has garnered attention from many different fields.
