Since he majored in sculpture, Yamamoto has worked as crossing sculpture and painting. Towering paints make such a scene with a bump and color and space add a harmony to his painting.
The new exhibition 'Taro' focuses on a motif he has used. Different motifs, mushroom, a woman and plants, shows a Japanese primitive interest and this time he emphasizes it consciously. From Taro Potato, a kind of sweet potato cultivated in everywhere, to common name of a boy in Japan, the title 'Taro' includes various meanings.
