Ueda Mayumi was born in Osaka in 1984. She has been painted her room and a part of it from the graduate exhibition of Tokyo Zokei University in 2009. In that exhibition, her paintings were such as modern Japanese oil painters that were influenced from Fauvism or Expressionism in Europe. But in this exhibition, her new paintings has been becoming colorfully and thickly than before, and changing exactly as painters' works of Expressionism. Today in Japan is full of information and things, the reality of Ueda Mayumi is the painting of her loved room that was constructed by the ones that she like to own. The important things for her are painting action and time herself. The paintings of Ueda Mayumi that are using the technique and spirit of Expressionism have the appearance of self portrait as if it were.
