About Heaven
by Kodama Gallery Tokyo
Location: Kodama Gallery Tokyo
Artist(s): Eiichi NISHIMORI
Date: 13 Jul - 10 Aug 2013

Kodama gallery has held four solo exhibitions of Nishimori so far, but every time his expression has showed different aspect and attracted to the audience with the deepen world. Unlike a charcoal drawing at the first exhibition '(A) SONG (S)' in 2007, a watercolor tableau based on chromatics by Goethe at 'Tinctura' in 2009 and artworks based on the natural phenomenon of light in 2011, Nishimori announced new works combined existing light and color expression with inner scenery at the previous exhibition in 2012.
The metaphor of this exhibition is the 'heaven', the uncertain world. Seeing the heaven is impossible, but painting a beautiful scenery with delightful colors is the closest way to approach to the 'heaven'.
