We are pleased to present a solo exhibition of new ceramic works by Shiro Hamanaka, who keeps presenting original works beyond the genre of the traditional Hagi ware, while leading a Hagi ware studio "Ooyagama". He has shown both in Japan and abroad, and his work was featured in the project by Bottega Veneta at Milano Salone in 2010. This exhibition will feature his new ceramic works and tablewares with the themes of "past", "prayer", "festival items", as well as "outer forms", which implies externalization of human forms.
