Date: 4 Sep - 16 Sep 2010

The huge painting "Freedom" by Liu Yaming which sized 16×3 meters is making his first debut in Beijing in the National Art Museum of China on September 4th.  It has taken 2 years for the artist to complete this painting which consists of more than 160 characters. The art work shows a picture of a disaster in which people behave very differently. Fear, desperation, confusion, hesitation or calm, all the mixed emotions are shown at the same time. Where are we going? Where does the road lead to?  The artist asked the question in an allegorical way.
