Wang Qingsong has been invited to Tang Contemporary to hold his new year solo exhibition "Happy New Year" after his successful show in International Photography Center at New York during April this year.

Wang Qingsong was born in Da Qing during the mid 60s and has been living in Beijing since 90s. Wang's art works are his personal response to some of the issues / problems in the development process of the current society. His sensibility to the reality is fully presented by humorous and sarcastic language from the integration of traditional culture signs and social realities in the art works.
