Wang Guangle was born in 1976 in Songxi, Fujian Province and later graduated from the Oil Painting department at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2000. The artist currently lives and works in Beijing. Wang Guangle is regarded as a leader amongst China’s younger generation of painters. He is a member of the N12 art organization, along with his classmate Liang Yuanwei.

In the evolution of Wang Guangle’s work, he has gradually brought various concepts into his own artistic process. The final image is a purely formalized sense of identity and emotion. He first gained 1976
