Words before the exhibition for Bianqin Bianqin, as a teenager who was born after 80s, didn't choose a fashionable way to show those “cartoons” or “dolls”, nor did he fall into a unspecific stance which was so-called “adolescent brutal ” or the feign “apathy”. Instead, he envisages his own soul so frankly and sincerely that he represents his artworks in his comfy and free life memories by summarizing those symbols. He records his mental feelings and soliloquies which are like a game in his actual adolescent illusion. Unreality images which are extremely experimental and sensible are indicated in his artwork. He took note of the management of art itself at a earlier time and also paid attention to grasping and picking the characters of art languages out. He not only knows the materials for his paintings well but also can handle the brushwork expertly and manage the texture suitably. We can learn that no matter the nimble and resourceful effect or the structure line processing indicates his interests in the form of his paintings far outweigh the expression of the thematic meaning itself. Instead of following the normal creation format which just diagrammatizes the realism of life, he creates and expresses his artwork in an abstract form directly. It’s a really hazardous way for a young scholar by doing so. But in his works, we have already seen the basic potential which can develop really well from his capacity to control the structure of different patterns and his ability to use the material languages. Bianqin is someone whose art genius is naturally well, whose art feeling is so keen, who got inexhaustible intelligence, and who cares about the significance of art noumenon, simultaneously he has highlighted his unique quality among his contemporaries. By the time of the opening reception for his first exhibition, I wish he could be going well on his art road steadfastly.
