Pierre Gonnord was born in 1963 in Cholet, France. Since 1988 he has lived and worked in Madrid. He was awarded with the prizes L´Oreal Photography Award, Madrid (2003), Purificación García Award, 3rd place, Circulo de Bellas Artes, Madrid (2004). His works have been collected by the University Salamanca, Spain, Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago, USA, Maison Europeenne de la Photographie, Paris and many others. He has had many solo exhibitions in Madrid, Seville, Lisbon, Paris, Barcelona as well as numerous group exhibitions in Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, and the USA among others.
