Gallery Yang presents: My Lonesome is a Garden, an exhibition by Chen Zhuo. There is no other paintings’ as pure as Chen Zhuo’s intention of art creation. In her paintings, there is no pretentiousness or sophistication, not political perspectives or sociology point of views, every brush straw all starts from the foundation of the most basic aesthetic s structure. Every painting of Chen Zhuo’s is as rhythmic as a short piece of poems’, not so obscure or long-winded, but full of hope and fantasy. She likes to praise the darkness while appreciating the brightness in her works, and she will not even try to stop the expression of emotions or the sudden inspiration’s impact. Chen Zhuo’s creation is also her self-inspection. She refuses to accept desperation.
