MK2 Art Space is very pleased to present, Tao’s Pixel, a monumental exhibition of painting and installation by Chinese artist Tao Na.  This is Tao Na's first solo exhibition with MK2 Art Space.

Handcrafted squares are central to Tao Na’s works. Squares represent the ubiquitous pixel of the electronic age, the basic unite of images, and in that sense, a symbol of the times. Working between painting and installation art, Tao Na employs a diverse range of materials and techniques without diverging from hand craftsmanship. Each square is meticulously formed and painted by hand, exceptional in its own uniqueness as her works question the nature of today’s reality.
