Both artists celebrate their romantic feelings in the paintings of a young and sensitive youth of today's China. Chinese traditions meet western lifestyle which forms the attractive, but sometimes disturbing mix of ideologies, values and form of expression.

The images convey a loneliness which is self absorbed in an oversweet environment. The susceptible portraiture of the subjects shows their vulnerability, and at times indifference towards their surroundings.
