The veteran artist Chang Nam Kwon will exhibit his sculptures which contain his emotion, longing and aspiration under the title 'Sculpture that embraces the moon'. He has worked as a form of traditional furnitures to provide a feeling of stability and friendliness for Korean emotions and those works show the world of majestic and heavy sculpture.
Kwon expresses nostalgia for his childhood in his hometown. In terms of material, he has used several kinds of stone, such as marble or sandstone, instead of woods, traditional one. His sculptures mean the language of our life in the past and future. So it is the medium that connects the sculpture and audience. His works create feelings of tenderness and warmness, even though he uses a stone. Through his elaborate working plan, maintaining unique colors and patterns of stones touch a chord with audience.
