Beyond Fashion
- 1st Crossover between Young Chinese Fashion Designers and Young Chinese Artists
Between fashion and art there is always ambiguity and a lot of passion because they both learn from each other with inspiration and they show that the world is filled with temptations and thoughts. On November 11, 2010, the exhibition "Beyond Fashion" will be held at Beyond Art Space and it will make the crossover between fashion and art.
The eight outstanding young contemporary artists from China and the 8 fashion designers have cooperated with each other as partners to complete 24 modern-dresses and fur styles according to the fashion designs. For the first time, the fashion designers and the contemporary artists make a crossover cooperation, where they share to think together and thus get inspiration by the artists works in order to make their design. The works of the artists and the fashion designers are full of ideas and creativity, and this is where art and fashion share the results of fusion and recreation.
The partnership between both makes the "Beyond fashion" which will be presented in this exhibition. During the opening day at Beyond Art Space, artists and designers will assist to a fashion conference. The works of art and a fashion show will be presented, which will be a brand new visual experience.
The exhibition is sponsored by Kopenhagen Fur, the largest fur skin auction house in the world.
