C-Space is pleased to announce the group exhibition “Will you miss me when I burn?” which will take place in the gallery from November 13th 2010 until February 27th 2011. The exhibition will feature new works from four young artists, Robbin Heyker from The Netherlands and Zhou Yi, Guan Xiao and Yu Honglei from China.

Robbin Heyker worked as an artist-in-residence in C-Space the past 6 months where he created a new series of paintings and works on paper. During this period he visited numerous Chinese artists to discuss and exchange ideas. These interactions have lead to the formation of this group exhibition. The four artists all make use of a language, which can be described as a playful approach of the visual. In the work of all of them a sensitive use of materials combines with a lack of direct narrative. In search of the poetic the strategy of the small gesture is put central.
