Kim jintaek was born in Seoul, S. Korea, and he learned his wood crafting skills from his paremts from when he was a child. Before he began studying at the Kookmin Academy of Fine Art and learned the art of sculpture, he had already acquired the skill of building houses and making furniture. As a matter of fact Kim jintaek was born with the love of wood, and it became his source of creativity in the modern concepts, at the same time, the experiences that he had during the years of his bachelor and post graduate study led him to discover the differences and singularities between him and his fellow students. Through his consciousness for the environment, Kim jintaek never restricted the concepts of art, after a series of progressive experiments, he still chooses to use his most effective skills to communicate with people, and his generation.
