The "pixel" of each digital camera work is a very important technique building block. Hundreds of thousands of pixels joining together in every digital photo, to constitute the integrity of image. They are also a critical tool for mass media, because of the convenient and fast delivery of image all over the world through compassing it.

Beyond using it as a technique tool, why don't we reconsider the pixel, as itself, a source for aesthetic?

The reality is reflecting the image by digital pixels, no matter we are happy with that or not.

The interesting thing should be, how does pixel as a tiny little elements control the quality when image's been amplified. Let's in this exhibition,  cut through the surface, and dig out the essential and compassed truth behind.

The relationship between human transitions and the response by nature has always been my interest, which resulted in the ongoing exhibition "Beijing Pixel". I am looking for the unexpected chance collided by man-made artifacts and natural fossil. The space has been the most accurate reflection of current living standard and situation of citizens. The pixels in my digital images is a incredibly amazing tool, which reveals micro details within daily transformation and development.
