Red Gate is pleased to announce the exhibition Red Hot featuring the works of 15 emerging artists, many who have been selected from the SURGE Art Fair. This new generation of artists are innovative, exciting and inexpensive. Many have recently graduated so they bring a fresh face to the contemporary art scene. The artists use photography, painting, printmaking, mixed media and sculpture to bring their view of the world to us – mainly views about this rapidly changing society and reflections on more traditional aspects of Chinese art and culture.

Featured artists: Cheng Linggang, Cheng Yi, Chu Haina, Huang Bingyin, Ju Ting, Li Jinguo, Li Qing, Liao Shengxiang, Lv Zhe, Ni Jianfeng & Sun Miaomiao, Wang Lang, Wang Xin, Xie Fujin, Zhang Jian and Zhao Xinyu.
