Considered to be the epilogue of Galen Tse’s ‘Pinhole Photography Trilogy’, “Ode to Nature” consists of a series of photographs made during a two-year period and is, according to the artist, "A feeling of the simplicity and vitality of the countryside, that I feel attracted and invited to investigate.”
The photographs are set in places such as Sai Kung, Yuen Long, Shek Kong, Tin Shui Wai and Kowloon Peak, examining the gradual urbanisation along the border of our city. The relations between architecture and landscape are all revealed in the calm and contemplative atmosphere of his poetic photographs. Displaying these 22 photo works, Galen aims to provoke the city dwellers to think about the development pace of the city.
