Graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2009, Sarah Tse starts off her artisan’s journey with pencil and paper and then further develops herself in collage and mixed media creation. Getting inspiration from her childhood memories, voyages and dreams, she has gradually built up her realm of paradoxes that is fascinating and fragile. On her creative turf, Sarah manipulates the meaning of objects, changing the way the world is interpreted.
Active in international art scene, Sarah has participated in 19 exhibitions staged in London, Taipei, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing and other cities. This representative figure of “40 under 40” among the Asian artists awarded by Perspective Magazine will host her premier exhibition in Hong Kong at TaiKoo Place with a collection of artworks compiled of pencil on paper, photograph collage work as well as mixed media collage work. She will also give demonstration to share her creation process with visitors during the exhibition period.
