Elise Lai Yuen Shan is currently in her final year of a degree in Fine Art at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Using painting and mixed media, Elise’s work references the introspective inner world of hidden emotions, taking the concealed mutual feelings between people as her subject. Her paintings delicately depict subtle emotional and psychological intrigues, capturing both the intimacy and ambiguity of undeclared feelings. Although she is still in the process of completing her formal education, Elise’s work has already been exhibited in group exhibitions as well as at the International Asian and Antique Art Fair in Hong Kong.
