I am not ashamed to admit that I am a hypocrite. I guess it came naturally from a common form of hereditary instinct or psychological reflex that we all possess. In much the same way as we need clothing to conceal our naked body, we put on different faces to suit different occasions and piers that we interact with daily.

Cynicism plays a major role in our social functions nowadays. People don't say what they mean, but what they often don't mean, they say. Dialogues between individuals become futile and insignificant. With our desire and emotion suppressed, we present ourselves to others in shallow and superficial ways. Beneath the skim of our physical appearance, we hide and alienate ourselves even from the closest of kin and friends.

Amongst my current works, be it paintings or multimedia installations, the issue being addressed is to depict such contradiction of the human minds, and the psychological reactions in dealing with those social or moral dilemma we confront each day.
