TikKa, a Hong Kong based artist, working as an art illustrator and a creative talent in the advertising industry. He started his profession as an artist in 2007, and has in the past few years cooperated with a number of well-lnown brands and creative units in various crossover and art projects, including 7-eleven, Heineken Beer, Coca-Cola, Nestle coffee, Plaza Hollywood, Japanese creativity team - DEVILROBOTS, Singapore creation unit- Play Imaginative, etc.
With the success of his first solo art exhibition "Journal to the East" in 2009, TikKa now presents his second solo art exhibition where more versatility, diversity and creativity can be seen. Inspired by stories and tales of Chinese historical and mythical figures, TikKa creates paintings in which fresh, loveable and cheerful cartoon characters are featured. These characters come alive on the artist's canvases and his three-dimensional artistic creations, expressing an optimistic and easy-going attitude. Through his works, TikKa seeks to introduce intriguing aspects of Chinese traditional culture to the young generation.
