MADHOUSE Contemporary is thrilled to present the extra-ordinary Hong Kong Duo Artist, GRAPHIC AIRLINES and their new solo exhibition <<Madboy in the Wonderland>>, showing at MADHOUSE Fun-Space, Chai Wan!  The exhibition begins from the 23rd of September until the 8th of October.  Don’t miss out!

After the great success of launching the limited edition sculpture series of “Alter Boy I & II” in 2008, Graphic Airlines has finally created the fabulous new third character, “Madboy”.

In this exhibition, the Duo artist will exhibit hand-painted Madboy sculptures, new paintings and first-time shown animated film. The artist explains, “Madboy is the only child from an ordinary family in Hong Kong. He was a good kid with excellent results and conduct in school, yet the overloaded assignment, high expectations from parents, demanding education systems and doubts on nationalism -  all these pressures have driven himself falling into his own imaginary world and becoming the Madboy whom dreamed and lived in his own fantasy world of magic and illusions.” 

Under the curation of Madhouse, the new Madhouse Fun-Space in Chai Wan will be transformed into a whimsical and adventurous Wonderland! We hope to evoke the imagination of the viewers and allow the audiences to interact freely with the artists’ new creation.
