Following the previous exhibition at Jia Art Gallery, Taiwan's art history from 1990 to 2005, after the lifting of martial law in Taiwan, arrived at the times of the art museums and art galleries. Artworks were actively traded in art market. The development of Taiwan's contemporary art has entered the peak. Regardless of political, historical, cultural, social, gender awareness and other issues, artists were more willing to speak out about these issues with the society.
Jia Art Gallery selected wonderful works from Li Jiuan-Jiuan, Po Yin-Ping, Jenny Chen, Hung Ken-Shen, Wu Yen- Yen, Yang Cheng-Yuan, Hsu Yao-Tung, Chir Wei-Jane, Kuo Jiuan-Chiou, Lee Ming-Chung, Liang Rong-Hua, Tan Li-Hsin and Chang Kuang-Chi, fourteen Taiwanese prime artists' works in the 1990-2005 for this exhibition. These artworks marked the development of Taiwan's art history.
