WATCHDOG CHARITY ART EXHIBITION
IN SUPPORT OF PRE-SCHOOL OPENNING A SECOND CENTRE
Watchdog Early Education Centre celebrates the opening of its second location with an ART SHOW November 6th 2009, at Opera Gallery in Central.
On November 6, over a hundred works of art by local and international artists will be exhibited at the Opera Gallery in support of the Watchdog Centre; Andrew Chan, Louise Solloway, Richard Winkworth, Caroline Bouquet, Durga, Sin Sin, Renu Sani, Sunil Padwal and Sayesha have chosen unique and distinctive pieces to exhibit at the show. The Cat Street Gallery, 2B Square Gallery and Amelia Johnson Contemporary will also contribute pieces to the show. The artists will each be donating a large portion of the proceeds from their sales to Watchdog. Opera Gallery is supporting the event by hosting the whole exhibition as well as contributing art.
Sponsored by Cathay Pacific and Castello del Vino, this show continues a long history of partnership between artists and Watchdog. Sharing Watchdog’s commitment to effecting positive change in the community, these gifted and generous artists offer their support each year to help broaden the reach and scope of Watchdog’s programming.
The exhibition is on for only ONE DAY and will be open to the public at 1100 AM
With cocktail reception opening at 1800 until 2100.Viewers are welcomed to purchase art works on the spot and hand collect the pieces same day or following day delivery at most.
About Watchdog: Founded in 1983, Watchdog provides well-rounded and intensive early intervention and therapy services for pre-school children with special educational needs (SEN). Watchdog is proud to announce the opening of a second location, The Watchdog Early Education Centre (Jordan). Filling a gap in service provisions for pre-school children with SEN, the Jordan Centre provides programming for children who previously have had no access to these critically needed services.
