Dmitry Grigorovich was born in Sakhalin (Holmsk). In 1978 finished Surikov Art College of Krasnoyarsk. In 1989 became a member of the Russian Association of Artists. Since 1989 has taken part in regional, republican and union exhibitions as well as in exhibitions abroad: in Italy, Turkey, Germany, Finland, Japan, the USA, South Korea. His pictures are included in private collections of Russia and some other countries.
