What we wear does not only represent our fashion style but also our attitudes and self-identity. The intimate relationship between our body and clothing has given inspiration to various Hong Kong artists including Bovey Lee, Fiona Wong, Koon Wai-bong, Joey Leung Ka-yin and five other artists. Some of them reinvented clothing that represent their artistic notions, while the others transformed the muse from fabric into paper cut art, paintings, ceramics or print. On display would be a collection of contemporary Hong Kong art that sublimes clothing, one of the daily ordinary objects, into a visceral reaction to inner self.
