Born in Hong Kong in 1983, Tang received his BA (2005) and MFA (2008) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He lectures and curates on various contemporary topics. As an independent artist, he frequently employs social symbols and narratives in new juxtaposition (such as layered glass) for new emotional revelation. He was the winner of the Hong Kong Contemporary Art Biennial Awards 2009 and finalist of the 2005 Philippe Charriol Foundation Art Competition.
