Different cities offer visual clues about their identity and character. Xinjiang and Morocco could not be more different in the climate, scenery and its inhabitants. The traveling chicas, Linda Rahmat & Jo Keung who view the same landscapes and its people aims to show two distinctive style and contrasting perspectives of each place. “Shades of Two Seasons” is their first exhibit showcasing a collection of images through the stark contrast of monochrome and colour photography. Through the unique selection of pictures, each of the photographers offers a separate visual clue of the places. This exhibition invites the viewers to piece these clues together and form a unique yet an encompassing perspective of life in wintry Xinjiang and temperate Morocco.
