Artist Statement:
"I entered through spiked-gates of an express station. With no bowing and with restrained unconcern, I pass houses and heavy pages of the city. Beyond town lies an open country. I acquire mystery to untie my thoughtį¹½s parcel. I was young and easy, I was green and carefree. I walked through the barns and happy yard, singing in the farm with the sun running long on the hay. There are fields as high as the house, songs heard from the chimneys. I watched the game of life begun among dead matches and droppings of birds. I left my thoughtį¹½s parcel on a bench and relearned the flight of singing words. Have you wine and music still, you sure will feel the power of your intense fragility." --Cecilia Man
