Louise Lee, born in 1974 in Hong Kong, was graduated from RMIT University, Melbourne, majoring in Bachelor of Art, Fine Art (Drawing), in 2002. She finished master degree of Fine Art by coursework (Painting) at RMIT University, Melbourne. She is currently teaching art at Hong Kong Japanese School. Human’s portrait, figure” are the major subject matters of her art creation. She is keen on pondering upon people’s motives and psychological states through observing and ruminating on their gestures and conversations. In recent years, she has created the “Yamato” series to express the essential purity of Japanese.
