Having spent all her life in the highly compact and quick‐paced city of Hong Kong, Fan Lok Yi found London’s morphology and banality strangely exciting during her stay in the city. By means of walking, photography, video and mixed‐media installation, she attempts to re‐enchant the mundane everyday life and uncover the conflicts between urban planning and lives in the city. Each piece of work is a psychogeographic study of one small fragment within a larger urban structure of feelings, while the exhibition itself is a summary of her artistic effort over the past 13 months in London.
