Everyone possesses their own unique vision towards life, culture and human existence. "VISION" brings together the work of a new generation of 20 contemporary Hang Kong artists, who will present their unique interpretation of the word 'vision.'

Using visual language, they hope to exchange such feelings and thoughts energetically and audibly, to generate fruitful thoughts about the society that we are all a part of, as well as to present them in forms that please both our soul and senses. The creation of art not only is a powerful medium to express emotions, it is also healing, putting colour back into peoples' lives.

Hong Kong Cancer Fund, who offer Art Therapy as part of their emotional and spiritual cancer support services to those touched by cancer, strongly believe in the importance of art as a form of communication.

In light of this synergy, "VISION" will integrate support to the community by donating proceeds from an artwork charity auction to Hong Kong Cancer Fund's free services, in particular, towards their breast cancer support services as October is the global month for breast cancer awareness.

"VISION" will be held as part of Fine Art Asia between 2 - 7 October 2011 at the Hong Kong Convention Exhibition Centre.
