For the past decades, British art has been acting as the pioneer of contemporary art. British art certainly contribute significantly to the future development of art.

This spring, Moon Gallery brings an exhibition of some of the most up front artists from London. Abstract paintings by young artists Georgina Amos and Rory McCartney, a figurative and non-figurative feast of color suggesting the new generation of abstract painting from London. The conceptual/political painting by David Mabb, the simplicity yet complexity of his work redefine the aesthetic of painting. Painter Peter Lloyd Lewis uses camera and computer as his painting tools, creates images he calls painting. The ink drawing by Jonathan Baker, an expressionistic portrait of the modern Londoners’ state of mind. The most up and coming artist in London and Berlin Tina Hage, using herself as the model to reconstruct the social/political images of the West.
