Remember the Days of Being Wild

One of Asia’s top iconic celebrities, Leslie Cheung is being commemorated through a special exhibition by Moon Gallery.

Leslie Cheung was a gifted actor as well as a singer, whose albums and movies were always a sensational hit across Asia since 1980s. However, at the zenith of his stardom, he suddenly committed suicide in 2003 due to his long suffering of depression. His tragic death came as a shock to his numerous fans around the world, for now he is still celebrated and commemorated continuously.

By April this year is the 10th anniversary of Cheung’s death. During April 2013, Moon Gallery is presenting a special exhibition solely dedicated to commemorate him. Artists from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan and England will participate in this exhibition. Numerous artworks will be displayed in a variety of mediums, such as paintings, sculptures, installations, and videos to once again recognize his everlasting fame.

This special exhibition will also be presented in Busan Film Centre in Korea as part of the Leslie Cheung commemorative program organized by the Busan International Film Festival. Moon Gallery is very honored to display these commemorative artworks of Leslie Cheung to the audience in Korea, which is the core landmark of BIFF. It would be a profound yet nostalgic experience for the visitors.
