Above Second invites you to explore the visual playground of Primary. It consists of a series of multimedia two and three dimensional art that combines traditional art materials with found and ready-made objects. Outsider artists duo, Graphic Airlines, is one of Hong Kong’s finest local talents. To label them as a street artist, illustrator, educator, or product designer is just scratching the surface of their diverse talents. In every respect, they are creatives to their very core.

Primary features art ranging from neo-surrealistic ink drawings to a collection of amusingly peculiar assemblages made of erasers, wax, toys, and push pins. The collection welcomes the spectator to get lost within the intricacies of the work and ponder its inner qualifications. The artists are in love with the journey and process of their art and it shows within all of its varied details.

“Cute we are not.” The characters created by design duo Graphic Airlines champion the “aesthetics of ugly”. Tat & Vi joined forces in 2002 and have since become stalwarts of Hong Kong’s burgeoning street art scene. Apart from publishing and exhibiting their work since 2006, the pair produces their own design products.
