Liu Keming was born in 1962 in Beiijng. He is now a professional artist in Beijing.

In 1985 he was graduated from the Traditional Chinese Painting Department of Central Academy of Fine Arts and obtained his bachelor degree in Art. In 1987, he studied in  Bade Art Institute in New York for two years for his master degree.

Liu Keming''s works absorb the concepts of modern art based on the traditional Chinese painting language. He draws his inspiration from daily life and adds on his own views and feelings. He unceasingly pursues the perfection of the use of lines and colors, and has painted a lot of elegant and romantic works, which are popular worldwide.

In 1988 he became the contract artist of the famous Reral Gallery in New York. In 1989, he held his solo exhibition in Rece Gllery at Manhattan, New York and some works were purchased by an anchorman of NBC TV Station. In the same year, Liu became one of the chief artists of the Studio. In 1989, he held his solo show in Denver, US. Since 1989, he took part in the World Art Exhibition and won the Silver Award.
