Sound installation is a three-dimensional art work with sound element. It is a time based art form. Sound installation has the element of time, which gives the visiting public the possibility to stay a longer time due to possible curiosity over the development of sound. This temporal factor gives the audience to explore the space thoroughly due to the dispositions of the different sounds in space.

Local artists include Paul Yip, Lego Shum, Dennis Wong, and Ruth Lo are going to have live performance and sound installations in K11 Piazza. Vocal, minimal electric music, experimental music will sound around K11.
