"I have been walking along a branched road. This is where reorganize my thoughts and find inspiration for my paintings.
In the branched road, I rambled without specific direction nor fixed content, but I do not fear losing my way. I enjoy wandering around without having to make decisions. Although I sometimes lose track of the time, my mind relaxes. In the branched road, time is in conflict. Past, present, and future merge into a line segment. Time originates from one end and ends at the other. I have been standing in the middle, where I find inspirations. The waste in the painting, the organic mutants, and the artificial geometrical objects are sublimated in my mind. There are no priorities and temporal orders, but satisfaction."- by Liu Deng
