Para Site has the pleasure to present a screening of short films by Sung Hwan Kim, a current participant of the Para Site International Art Residency.

About the artist:

Sung Hwan Kim (b. 1975, South Korea) is an artist based in New York. He served as a fellow at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten, Amsterdam. His practice comprises of performance, installation, text, film/video and music (often in collaboration with dogr aka David Michael DiGregorio, also a Para Site International Art Residency participant). Recent solo exhibitions include the commission for the opening of The Tanks at Tate Modern, London (2012); Line Wall, Kunsthalle Basel, Basel (2011); From the Commanding Heights..., Queens Museum of Art, New York (2011); Golden times, Haus der Kunst, Munich (2010); and Witte de With, Rotterdam (2009).
